Once upon a time, in a place not too different than the one we live in now, lived a woman not too different than the one she is now. Her hair was less naturally gray, her personality was more naturally extroverted, and her interest in politics was intentionally non-existent.
She cussed and made up words a lot.
As the years passed, she married, reproduced a human life, upgraded husbands, learned that her offspring was, in no particular order: big-hearted, smart, funny, neuro-atypical, and hella queer. Eventually, the woman reconnected with her faith, learned her disinterest in politics was merely a benefit of her many, various unconscious privileges, and vowed to use her big-hearted, fat-bottomed, faith-filled self to make the world a better place through grace, love, and a willingness to screw up and learn while trying.
For the sake of our story, let’s call this woman ME; consider yourself invited along for journey. No charge. No guarantees. No refunds.
